Chairman of the Kyiv city election commission Anatolii Suldin says these results are not final, they just show a trend.

"These are not the official voting results. With such a busy schedule, I can name only a trend, not figures," he said.

All election commissions have now completed the count of votes, and the Kyiv city election commission has preliminary results of processing about 50% of protocols.

Poroshenko Bloc - Solidarity candidate Vitalii Klitschko - is leading Kyiv's mayoral election after 50% of the protocols of territorial election commissions have been processed.

"This is preliminary data, but the trend of the last day shows Vitalii Klitschko as leading," chairman of the Kyiv city election commission Anatolii Suldin said.

As for the candidate for the second place, Suldin noted that, according to preliminary estimates, Batkivshchyna's Volodymyr Bondarenko, Samopomich's Serhii Husovskyi, Boryslav Bereza of Partiia Rishuchykh Hromadian, and the candidate of Yednist Oleksandr Omelchenko score more or less the same number of votes.

So far, none of the precinct commissions has provided the protocols with seals to the city commission: the first ones are expected to be brought after 1 p.m.
