 US ready to allocate third loan guarantee for $1 bln, US Secretary of Commerce Pritzker says

The United States is ready to allocate the third promised loan guarantee from the U.S. government for up to $1 billion in the nearest months.

This was announced by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker during her visit to Kyiv, Censor.NET reports citing ZN.UA.

The U.S. official announced at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, Oct. 26, that the U.S. president and the Congress intend to fulfill their obligation of the third one-billion loan guarantee for Ukraine in upcoming months.

President Poroshenko in his turn noted the importance of enhanced cooperation between the U.S. and Ukraine in both political support and macro-financial aid.

"We welcome the decision of allocating the third tranche of the macro-financial aid in the amount of $1 billion," Poroshenko said.
