As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainska Pravda, this was announced by Opora's public observer Tetiana Pliasunova who monitors the elections in Lysychansk.
"The invalidation of the polls was not even considered by the election commission during last night," she said.
"According to preliminary results, the voting at all polling stations will be recognized as valid," she added.
The head of the local election commission Natalia Kravchenko said there was no reason for the commission to recognize the elections as invalid. Also, no proposals were made during commission's meeting to recognize the voting as invalid.
According to preliminary results, the first round in Lysychansk is won by Serhii Shylin, running for city mayor from Opposition Bloc, who scores 52% of votes, the head of the territorial election commission said.
Earlier, head of the legal department of Poroshenko Bloc - Solidarity staff, MP Serhii Alekseiev said the city election commission had recognized the local elections in Lysychansk as invalid.
