OSCE Mission completed verification of withdrawn weapons of caliber under 100-mm in Luhansk region, - ATO speaker Tkachuk

The cease-fire was observed at the Luhansk and Artemivsk directions (Popasna district) from 7 a.m. Oct. 19 to 7 a.m. Oct. 20. No cases of truce violation have been recorded.

This is stated on the official website of Anti-terrorist operation spokesman in the Luhansk region Ruslan Tkachuk, Censor.NET reports.

The statement reads: "The OSCE special monitoring mission (SMM) has completed verification of the withdrawn weapons with caliber up to 100-mm at the Luhansk direction according to the addendum to the Minsk agreements.

"The implementation of the second phase of equipment and weapons withdrawal at the Artemivsk direction (Popasna district) starts October 20, 2015. Tanks, 100-mm anti-tank guns and mortars with caliber up to and including 120-mm shall be simultaneously withdrawn from the demarcation line. The international observers are working both in our territory and in the territory temporarily controlled by the so-called "LPR". Journalists have been invited to cover the event.

"In addition, range practice is underway in the Luhansk region. The soldiers of the sixth wave of mobilization improve shooting skills from IFV weapons and small arms. The mine clearance is underway as well."
