Sister of Nadiya Savchenko Vira forbidden entry to Russia until 2020 – lawyer Feigin

Sister of the Ukrainian pilot and Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Batkivshchyna faction Nadiya Savchenko Vira has been denied entry to the territory of the Russian Federation until 2020.

One of the lawyers of Nadiya Savchenko Mark Feigin wrote on Twitter, Censor.NETreports.

"Vira Savchenko was notified that the FSB has banned her entry into the Russian Federation at the Cherkovo-Milove border crossing point on the border between Russia and Ukraine," Feigin wrote.

He also informed that Vira Savchenko has been forbidden entry to the territory of Russia until 2020.

"Nadiya Savchenko is now deprived of the right to defense, as her sister Vira was declared the only witness at the trial," Feigin said.

He also added that Vira Savchenko was not submitted any documents to. At the same time, Vira Savchenko was accompanied by the Consul of Ukraine Oleksandr Kovtun.

The defense of Nadiya Savchenko intends to appeal the decision of the Federal Security Service to ban Vira Savchenko's entry in the territory of the Russian Federation.
