Russian attache Ryshnikov's Camry ran into guardrail outside Kyiv, driver showing "obvious signs of intoxication." PHOTOS

Attache of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Ukraine Viktor Ryshnikov, driving a car in a drunk state, rammed into a guardrail on Novoobukhivske highway in the direction of Kyiv.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Interior Ministry spokesperson Artem Shevchenko on his Facebook page.

"This Russian diplomat, attache of the Russian Embassy to Ukraine, driving Toyota Camry with the official plate number D 001076 down Novoobukhivske highway in the direction of Kyiv, crashed into a guardrail. When the patrol police came at the site, the diplomat locked himself inside the car. During a conversation, Ryshnikov showed clear signs of intoxication. Law enforcers documented the incident in the presence of witnesses. The diplomatic immunity does not allow Ukraine's patrol police to write reports regarding such offenders. Therefore, the police blocked the car from movement until a tow truck arrived. The diplomat was taken away by his colleague from the Embassy of the Russian Federation," Shevchenko wrote.
