 Gangs of Russian militants clash due to cuts in funding and inability to leave occupied Donbas

Discipline among the militants has deteriorated, as well as the crime situation in the occupied territories of the Donbas.

This was announced by the Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko at a briefing on Sunday, Censor.NET reports.

"Due to cuts in Russian funding of the illeagal armed groups, the discipline among the militants has deteriorated. As a result, regular clashes between the gangs are reported, which results in a further deterioration of the crime situation," he said.

"The militants are not wanted in Russia, too. There is a strict border control regime with enhanced filtration measures between the occupied territories of Ukraine and the Rostov oblast of the Russian Federation," Lysenko added.
