"We have made another step towards the dialogue with Ukraine. Proposed by the guarantors of the Minsk process - France, Germany, and Russia - we agreed to postpone the local elections in the "DPR" planned for October 18, 2016," one of the leaders of the "DPR" terrorists Denis Pushylin said.

Earlier, representative of Ukraine in the subgroup on political issues of the Tripartite Contact Group to resolve the situation in the Donbas Roman Bezsmertnyi said that the postponement of the militants' elections was just the "postponed blackmail". "As explained by the Minsk agreement, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is the authority to make decisions to hold, reschedule, cancel the elections," Bezsmertnyi said.
