PGO's petition to arrest Kliuiev has been prevented from Rada voting for three months now, - journalist. DOCUMENT (in Ukrainian)

Reporters found that Prosecutor General Shokin introduced the petition to arrest former Party of Regions MP Serhii Kliuiev, accused of large-scale public funds embezzlement, on June 16 this year. On June 30, the regulatory committee found it grounded and recommended to vote on it. Over the three months since then, Speaker Hroisman has not put it to vote, which is very contrasting with the speaker's efficiency in Mosiichuk's case. All of it unpleasantly suggests that someone might be covering for Serhii Kliuiev and had allowed him fleeing.

This was announced by reporter and blogger Serhii Ivanov on his Facebook page, Censor.NET informed.

"Who is covering for Kliuiev?" Ivanov wrote. "After Serhii Kliuiev fled, Prosecutor General Shokin introduced the petition to arrest him on June 16. On June 30, the regulatory committee found it grounded (see the document below). Now the most interesting thing is that Speaker Hroisman has not put it to vote over the three months since then. Given there will be no sessions by the end of October, we can speak of four, not three, months of procrastination by the Rada on the PGO's presentation regarding Kliuiev," he wrote.

"Somehow all of it is discordant with the Rada leadership's efficiency in Mosiichuk's case, don't you think so? Compared to Kliuiev, Mosiichuk is an amateur; however, he was even refused to be released on bail. I do not acquit him, but who is Mosiichuk and who is Kliuiev? Considering all of the above, I think it's obvious how Kliuiev managed to get away. He did not flee. He was shown out," Ivanov concluded.
