 Emergency meeting of Tripartite Contact Group under consideration over recent violation of peace agreements by terrorists, - ATO HQ

The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters declared violation of the cease-fire deal by the militants Oct. 7.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO press-center.

The statement reads: "The militants launched anti-tank guided missiles at the Ukrainian strong point, where construction works were carried out. The attack took place in the vicinity of Troitske at 12:20 p.m.

"The militants have launched two missiles totally. One of them hit the excavator. Four Ukrainian military were wounded.

"The Ukrainian side has informed the OSCE observers on the shelling. The patrol of the international observers has documented the incident.

It was also reported that Head of the Ukrainian side in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Cease-fire and stabilization of the demarcation line Major-General Borys Kremenetskyi held a telephone conversation with Deputy Head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Alexander Hug yesterday and he confirmed that the international observers have acquired materials of attack on Ukrainian soldiers in the vicinity of Troitske.

"The issue of holding of the emergency meeting of the trilateral contact group is currently under consideration. This shelling was the only case of violation of the peace agreements by the enemy since Sept. 30, 2015," the report reads.
