The name of the deceased soldier was Stepan Dmytriv. He was the resident of the village of Yakubiv in the Dolyna district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. He was married and had two children: daughter born in 1995 and son born in 2005.
According to Chairman of the Union of the ATO soldiers of the Dolyna district, deputy head of the military enlistment office of the town of Dolyna Oleh Petriv, Stepan Dmytriv was mobilized March 11.
He was undergoing training at the Armed Forces of Ukraine training center in the village of Starychi in the Lviv region. The soldier did not serve in the ATO area.
According to Oleh Petriv, 56-year-old Stepan Dmytriv died of heart failure. He was recognized fit for military service while no significant health problems had been discovered when he was mobilized.
According to preliminary information, the soldier will be buried on Thursday.
