This was announced by Russian Defense Ministry press secretary Igor Konashenkov on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing AFP.
"The Russian Defense Ministry has answered the demands of the Pentagon and is examining in depth American proposals on coordinating operations carried out against the terrorist group Islamic State on Syrian territory," he said.
"On the whole, these proposals could be put in place."
As reported, Russian parliament approved use of Russian troops in Syria on Sept. 30, allegedly to fight against ISIL. The same day, Russia conducted first airstrikes against the country, killing dozens of civilians. Yesterday, Oct. 6, Russian air forces bombed the city of Palmyra, which is UNESCO World Heritage site.
