 Putin never asked for return of Russian citizens detained in Ukraine, - Tandit

In Paris, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko demanded the release of Ukrainian hostages held in Russia.

Adviser to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Yurii Tandit said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.

"I have noticed that Russian President Vladimir Putin has never, at any meeting, demanded the return of Russian citizens detained in Ukraine," Tandit said.

He did not mention the exact number of Russian citizens held in Ukraine due to their illegal activities, noting that "not one or two, but dozens of people have been detained, and arrests take place daily."

It should be reminded that according to President of the European Council Donald Tusk, Ukrainian citizens Nadiya Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov, and Oleksandr Kolchenko held in Russia are the symbols of cynicism of the Russian politics.
