This was announced by ATO spokesman in the Luhansk region Ruslan Tkachuk on his website, Censor.NET reports.
Ukraine is preparing for withdrawal of weapons of caliber under 100 mm, ATO headquarters said on Sunday. "We are putting together lists of weapons and armored equipment and discuss them with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission," Tkachuk said. Ukraine's military located in the Luhansk region have received 14 days to carry out actions listed in addendums to the Minsk agreements, he added Cease-fire in ATO area observed for 72 hours
"The direct withdrawal will begin on Monday, we expect. Tanks will be the first to be withdrawn. We have agreed routes and areas for them. They comply fully with the international agreements and will allow a maneuver in case the opposite side violates the cease-fire regime. Besides, we are considering a complex system of replacing tanks and artillery with ATMs. We are changing the fire sectors and improving the alert system - everything not to drop the firepower," the speaker said.
According to him, the withdrawal of weapons in the Luhansk region will be followed by weapons withdrawal in the C, B, and M sectors.
