President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met in Paris with French President Francois Hollande.

Censor.NET reports citing presidential press service.

"Relations between Ukraine and France are at their best since Ukraine gained independence," Ukraine's president stressed.

The parties discussed the situation in the occupied Donbas and Crimea, and coordinated positions on the eve of the meeting in the Normandy format.

The presidents stressed the necessity of UN Security Council reform.

The interlocutors also considered the issue of visa-free regime for Ukrainians and agreed on holding Ukrainian-French Investment Forum in Nov. 2015.

The president of Ukraine invited the president of France to pay an official visit to Ukraine. The invitation was accepted.
