This was announced by the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NDSC) Secretary OIeksandr Turchynov during his visit to the Stare village military unit, Boryspil district, the Kyiv region on Friday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax.
"We form our positions in a way that will allow to rapidly restore our battle formation and conduct a counterattack in the case of any threat," Turchynov said.
According to him, armored carriers and anti-tank defense means remain along the demarcation line.
"Speaking of deployment of artillery systems, MLRSes, other equipment, including tanks -- for that, we have formed mobile groups who will react to the threats rapidly. Thus, we are fulfilling our obligations, but there will be an active and harsh counterstrike in the case of threat," the NDSC Secretary stressed.
Turchynov also noted that Ukraine continues to enhance combat readiness of its army.
