ATO forces clashed with terrorists near Starohnativka, - InfoResist

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation area (ATO) remains relatively stable.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by MP Dmytro Tymchuk on his Facebook page citing investigative information of Informational Resistance group.

"Single cases of shelling by pro-Russian terrorist troops were recorded yesterday. An engagement between an ATO unit and terrorists took place to the north of Starohnativka: two enemy groups were shelling a strong point using large-caliber machine guns and an AGS-17," he wrote.

Tymchuk also noted that the front defense line to the south of Pisky village, the Donetsk city area, has been taken by joint units that poorly know the area and start shooting on the slightest provocation. A case of fire from an authorized IFV weapon against the ATO forces positions has been recorded.

"Near Zaitseve, mercenaries are openly provoking ATO forces to open the fire by sending small groups at the distance of up to 300 m and opening chaotic fire at random against our positions.

"To the north of Luhanske village, a reinforced terrorist company has taken positions at the midground and was opening fire from small arms in a Ukrainian Army's strong point direction.

"Terrorists used an 82-mm mortar twice to the southwest from Maiorsk," he added.
