 Son of Firtash's ex-wife Serhii Kalynovskyi remanded for two months without right to bail

The Pechersk district court in Kyiv ruled to remand Serhii Kalynovskyi in custody for two months without right to post a bail. The person was wanted by Interpol for committing a fatal crash in 2007.

The lawyer of Kalynovskyi Yaroslav Hutarin told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET informs.

"My client has been taken into custody for two months today," he said.

The lawyer said he intended to lodge an appeal.

It should be reminded that son of Dmytro Firtash's ex-wife Serhii Kalynovskyi driving BMW M6 rammed into a car parked in the center of Kyiv May 30, 2007. Internal security troops' warrant officer Volodymyr Kulykovskyi and passenger of the BMW Anastasia Bronnikova, who was Kalynovskyi's girlfriend, were killed in the accident.

Kalynovskyi was put on the international wanted list after he escaped from a private clinic where he was treated after the accident.
