"I would like to instruct Deputy Prime Minister Hennadii Zubko to prepare a draft order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the start of the heating season," he said at a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
Yatseniuk said that "all technical start-ups" should be performed before the start of the heating season.
"I want a corresponding order to be presented at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers," he added.
The prime minister recalled that according to the law, local authorities decide on the start of the heating season at their discretion.
"All technical matters regarding preparation of the local heating facilities have been tackled over the past three or four months. It (the order - ed.) is a legal act which allows starting the heating season in Ukraine in full and on time," the prime minister said.
