 Kyiv railway station bomber detained, - Interior Ministry

Law enforcers have detained a person responsible for an explosion at Kyiv railway station at night.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Interior Ministry Main Department in Kyiv spokesperson Oksana Blyshchyk on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"Police took efforts to identify and detain the attacker as soon as possible. We have succeeded. The man is now being questioned by law enforcers. A criminal proceeding has been opened under Part 4, Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism)," the statement reads.

As previously reported, around midnight, an explosion occurred at Kyiv railway station. As a result of the incident, a woman was wounded and taken to hospital.

According to the injured, a man was passing by, then threw something towards her and an explosion followed.
