"It's worth mentioning that the terrorists didn't stop to provoke the ATO forces. The militants usually fire at the Army's position along the line of collision, hoping that Ukrainian soldiers will fight back and thereby compromise the Minsk agreements," the press center wrote.
Thus, the militants fired at ATO forces' positions at Troitske village at 9 p.m. In one hour, the terrorists shelled Leninske and Kirove strongholds with automatic grenade launchers.
"In general, the militants fired at Ukrainian soldiers' positions four times, and opened provocative fire at the occupied territories four more times. All cases of cease-fire violations were registered in the Artemivsk sector. After midnight, truce was observed in the ATO area," the statement reads.
