 Russia's Major Starkov sentenced to 14 years in prison, - Military Prosecutor Matios

Dzerzhynskyi district court of the Donetsk region has sentenced Major of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Starkov to 14 years in prison.

This was announced by Chief Military Prosecutor Anatolii Matios on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"It is symbolical! A judge presiding at a session in Dzerzhynskyi district court of the Donetsk region, at the request of Chief Military Prosecutor's Office, has announced a verdict to Major of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Starkov in the first place (in addition to other articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) for taking part in aggressive war against Ukraine, following orders of Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Gerasimov. He received 14 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. In the name of Ukraine! In the name of the dead Ukrainian Heroes. In the name of Nadiia Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov, Oleksandr Kolchenko! In the name of the Crimean Tatar people! In the name of tears of Ukrainian mothers!" he notes.
