Presidential Administration: Poroshenko to meet with Biden during UN General Assembly

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will meet with US Vice President Joe Biden during the upcoming session of the UN General Assembly.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Head of the Main Department for Humanitarian Policy of the Presidential Administration Yurii Ruban on air of 5 Channel in Pidsumky Dnia news show. "It is clear that Joe Biden is in charge of the Ukrainian issue in the US Administration, and thus, there will be a big, full-scale meeting," he said.

According to Ruban, there is information about a short meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, but it is necessary to take maximum efforts to get a full-scale meeting. "It is clear there is a chance of a short meeting with the US president and it is likely to be used. We hope. I wish it was not just a demonstrative protocol meeting. It would be great to see more pragmatism to it, because we have a big package of issues contingent on Obama's decision," Ruban stated.
