 Luhansk region official leaked information to "LPR" militants, - prosecutor's office

An employee of a district council in the Luhansk region provided "LPR" militants with information about officials of the Stanytsia Luhanska military and civil administration and the district council as well as with correspondence materials of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration and Ukraine's law enforcement authorities.

Censor.NET reports citing Luhansk region prosecutor's office press service.

The prosecutor's office is in charge of a criminal proceeding on the fact of facilitating the activities of a terrorist organization (Part 1, Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It is established that from August till September 2015, a chief specialist of the legal and documentary department at the Stanytsia Luhanska district council sent documents via e-mail to a representative of the terrorist "LPR", containing information about officials of the Stanytsia Luhanska military and civil administration and the district council as well as correspondence materials of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration and Ukraine's law enforcement authorities.

The official has been notified of suspicion and remanded in custody.
