Additional borders will be set at Chaplynka and Kalanchak checkpoints on the administrative border with Crimea in the Kherson region. It is reported that the campaign will be shifted for 10 and 7 km inside the mainland, respectively.

This was announced by deputy head of the Kherson region police Illia Kyva on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.

"A second frontier is being constructed at Kalanchak checkpoint for the peaceful campaign. Yesterday, we managed to agree with the coordination HQ on shifting the campaign from the direct demarcation line 7 km into the mainland. An additional line of defense is being constructed there in order to protect the protesters. Mobile checkpoints were brought and redeployed at all three directions," Kyva said.

He noted that the number of participants is increasing. The Right Sector activists have started their rotation.

"An additional border has been also prepared for Chaplynka checkpoint to support the peaceful event. They will shift 10 km into the mainland from Chaplynka in order to secure the protesters," Kyva said.

At the moment, two additional defense frontiers have been constructed to border the protesters off from the demarcation line with the enemy. The coordination HQ is operating at the checkpoints.
