 Arkada bank president disappeared in Lviv, his car found burnt, - prosecutor's office

Arkada bank president disappeared on Sept. 18 in Lviv.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Lviv region prosecutor's office press service, a banker, resident of Kyiv, was reported missing on Sunday, Sept. 20. On the same day, a criminal proceeding was opened under Part 1, Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (murder).

It has been established that on Sept. 18 the banker arrived in Lviv on business. Two days later his car was found burnt near the village of Rakovets, 10 kilometers south of the city.

At present, investigation is underway.

Banker's name is kept secret, though, according to Interfax-Ukraine, the missing person is Arkada bank president Serhii Sushchev. This fact is also confirmed by Lviv media.

Arkada bank is a medium-sized bank in terms of assets.
