 Svoboda party is Kremlin's agent , Minister of Interior Avakov says

Ukraine's Minister of Interior Arsen Avakov blamed All-Ukrainian Svoboda party of being the Kremlin's agent.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, he said this at a briefing for Cherkasy journalists after launching application submission process in the city.

"Svoboda party is definitely the Kremlin's agent. Those who come to a meeting with a grenade definitely work for the Kremlin as well. Those who come to a meeting with a grenade brought over a thousand kilometers from the anti-terrorist operation area and throw it - work for the Kremlin as well," Avakov noted.

As reported, clashes between protesters and law enforces occurred near the Verkhovna Rada building on Aug. 31 after the parliament voted for the Constitution amendments on decentralization in the first reading. Aggressive protesters started to attack the building of the parliament, throw block stones and smoke pellets. A ball grenade has also been thrown. Three National Guard soldiers have been killed, 150 more people suffered wounds of various severity.

According to law enforcers, the meeting near the parliament had been organized by the Svoboda party, the Radical party, and other organizations.

Former soldiers of Sich special forces battalion of the Interior Ministry Ihor Humeniuk was arrested the same day under suspicion of having thrown the ball grenade towards law enforcers. On Sept. 2, the Pechersk district ruled to prolong his arrest for two months. Another 17 people have been detained under suspicions of rioting.
