 Ukrainian border guard detained by FSB, – Russian media

A citizen of Ukraine wearing a military uniform with insignia of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was allegedly detained in the Kursk oblast of Russia.

Censor.NET reports citing RIA Novosti (Crimea) and the Border Guard Service in the Kursk oblast.

The Ukrainian citizen, detained yesterday in the vicinity of Volfine settlement of the Glushkovskiy district of the Kursk oblast of Russia, was reported to have crossed the Russian border illegally without any ID.

"He was wearing a military uniform with insignia of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and introduced himself as a military of the Sumy border detachment," the FSB wrote.

The Ukrainian side is informed about the incident. The State Border Service of Ukraine has not commented on the incident so far.
