 Court denies motion of Mosiichuk defense to challenge the judge

The Pechersk district court in Kyiv have turned down the appeal of the defense of Radical Party MP Ihor Mosiichuk to disqualify the judge.

The corresponding decision was announced by Judge Olesia Batrin at the hearing Friday evening, Censor.NET informs citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to the court, the defense has not provided proof sufficient for the challenge of the judge. Mosiichuk's defense appealed to challenge the judge at the beginning of the hearing due to the conflict that took place in the case of activist Bohdan Tytskykh.

It was reported earlier that Mosiichuk threatened to embark on hunger strike if he was not released on bail. The Verkhovna Rada sanctioned the arrest of the people's deputy Mosiichuk yesterday. He was detained in the parliament building after that.
