 Two Ukrainian soldiers killed, five wounded tripping a mine yesterday, - ATO speaker

Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, five received wounds by mine tripping in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area in the Donbas yesterday.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the Presidential Administration speaker on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko.

"Two groups of our soldiers tripped mines yesterday. It happened near the Maiorsk railway station and in the area of Starohnativka. As a result of the explosions, two our military were killed, five received injuries," Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

He noted that since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in 2014, Ukrainian mine pickers have defused 18,500 explosive devices, cleared 585 km of motorways and 17 km of railways.
