 PGO: criminal investigation under five articles of Criminal Code initiated against Mosiichuk

Verkhovna Rada deputy, a representative of the Radical Party Ihor Mosiichuk is suspected of committing crimes under five articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The statement reads: "Mosiichuk is suspected of committing criminal offenses covered by Part 4 of the Article 368 (acceptance of the offer, promise or receipt of undue advantage by an official), Part 2, 3 of the Article 296 (hooliganism), Part 1, 2 of the Article 350 (threat or violence against an official or a citizen performing public duty), Part 1 of the Article 376 (interference in the course of justice), Part 1, 2 of the Article 377 (threat or violence against a judge, lay judge or juryman) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine."

"Speaking to MPs in the Verkhovna Rada with the request to support the motion to arrest Mosiichuk, Viktor Shokin has stressed that operational search actions were conducted during the investigation into grievous and extremely grievous crimes committed by the Ukrainian MP. He also drew attention to the fact that all the evidence concerning this criminal case has been gathered in compliance with the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code."
