Head of the Petro Poroshenko block faction Yurii Lutsenko told reporters, Censor.NET reports.
"The order on arrest of Mosiichuk and stripping him of immunity is signed. The SBU operatives are already waiting to detain him," Lutsenko said.
"Having a skilled eye, I can see about a hundred SBU operatives outside the parliament," Lutsenko said.
He also pointed out that the procedure of parliament's voting for the arrest of Mosiichuk was carried out properly from a legal point of view and the regulations have not been violated. "The chairman raised the issue of changing the voting procedure to make the decision today. It was supported. This is called an ad-hoc change in the schedule meaning a one-time change in the decision-making procedure," Lutsenko said.
At the same time, according to Censor.NET correspondent, the Radical Party faction is holding a meeting behind closed doors in the hall on the first floor of the building of the parliament. MP Mosiichuk accused of corruption is also there.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada has granted a petition of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin on detention of people's deputy from the Radical Party faction Ihor Mosiichuk.
According to the Prosecutor General, Mosiichuk is suspected of committing grave crimes. "The investigation into grievous and extremely grievous crimes committed by one of the Ukrainian deputies is underway. The evidence of commission of these crimes has been collected during the investigation," Shokin stated in the Verkhovna Rada.
The MP is also accused of involvement in corruption schemes. Mosiichuk has been filmed receiving bribes. The video was shown by the Prosecutor General during the session of the Parliament.
