MP Lutsenko: Ukraine is massively challenged by oligarchs, radicals and populists

During his speech at the third stage of the XII extraordinary congress of the political party "Petro Poroshenko Bloc - Solidarity", head of Poroshenko Bloc's faction at the Verkhovna Rada Yurii Lutsenko named four objectives pursued by Poroshenko Bloc in the Parliament, Kyiv's council, and which are to be pursued on a national scale from now on.

He wrote this on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"We are going through a moment when Ukraine is massively challenged by oligarchs, radicals and populists. Maybe the sheep in their ranks think they are fighting for popularity and reputation. But the shepherds know exactly that they want to overthrow the Verkhovna Rada, and this means overthrowing the Ukrainian state. This is the fourth front, to which we must respond.

"Today, it is Petro Poroshenko Bloc - Solidarity upon which government's endurance depends.

"We do not need Messiahs, we do not claim monopoly and dictatorship, but I claim that Ukraine is in danger today. Poroshenko Bloc, along with its colleagues from Udar and People's Front, volunteers and social activists, all professionals who want to work for the state, will take part in the local elections in order to save the country and continue reforms," Lutsenko went on.

He recalled that when Roosevelt was opening the first session of the United Nations General Assembly, he said that a person needs four things: the sun, air, bread and salt. "I would like to agree and say the following.

"Ukraine needs the sun and peace through the victory.

"Ukraine needs air and a fair trial for everyone.

"Ukraine needs bread and economic growth.

"Ukraine needs salt and fighting against corruption both among top officials and throughout Ukraine.

"These are the four objectives pursued by Poroshenko Bloc in the Parliament, Kyiv's council, and which are to be pursued on a national scale from now on," Lutsenko stated.
