State Fiscal Service should be reformed as police was, - Yatseniuk

As reported by Censor.NET, it was announced by Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk during today's meeting at the Cabinet.

"I can clearly state that a simple change in the leadership of fiscal service, customs, or any other public service does not change the way of work. New people manage to endure only for a few months," Yatseniuk said. He asked to follow the example of the new patrol police.

According to Yatseniuk, in particular, all local heads of the service should be discharged, with new people coming instead through a transparent competition.

"A new structure of the State Fiscal Service should be approved. All heads should be removed from office. Regional and district leadership of the fiscal service, customs, and, so far, of the tax police, which is to be liquidated, should be enrolled in the same way as in the national police: through tests and transparent competition," he said.

At the same time, the prime minister said that dismissed officials would be able to take part in the competition on equal grounds.
