Censor.NET informs citing the journalist's post on Facebook.
"I have not been able to make my mind whether to go to the Maidan tonight or not since the morning. Should I join those who will gather to mark the 15th anniversary of the death of Georgy Gongadze? I do not understand why should I? If it is for commemoration, I do it not on the Maidan because there is no grave in the church, where we - the Christians - usually pray and commemorate those we love and will never forget. I protest and seek justice in the court, where there is the active war with the judges, Shokin and Poroshenko. Who are so shamelessly and lawlessly trying to arrange that the masterminds of Georgy's murder escape punishment, it primarily concerns Kuchma. Moreover, I do not understand what all this protest is going to be about while according to its organizers, they even are not going to remember names of assassin's paymasters, forgers of the investigation, presidents, who ensure justice for Ukrainians," he wrote.
"If it is just to hype oneself in front of cameras, make a sad face for reporters, then, first of all, I'm not a star or some merchandise and I am not going to participate in elections either and, secondly, the vast majority of the Ukrainian TV channels are owned by Pinchuk and friends of Kuchma, and I am still either ignored and not called upon to speech or shot from inconvenient angle. And those individual media that are interested in my position may take my comment anywhere. After all, I have been using the least opportunity to bring the truth to Ukrainians from the first day of the case," he wrote.
According to him, the only thing worth doing is to look into the eyes of the masterminds of this blasphemy.
"Maybe it is really worth looking into the eyes of [the journalists of] Ukrainska Pravda and in general all those journalists who will demonstrate solidarity not in the court, not outside the Prosecutor General's Office, not outside Poroshenko's administration, where I have not seen them at least for the last 10 years. They will demonstrate solidarity not during actual combats for justice but strolling through the Maidan without any sharp word or even a gesture. But I know, I'm getting sick looking into those eyes. Therefore, I will take the decision at my last gasp. Perhaps I will fall under the influence of my friends, who will insist: "You must be there," the journalist wrote.
"And I want not to promise, but to inform on this already 15th anniversary of the execution of Georgy: I will fight straight out while I am still alive and have strength. In fact, there are other names and souls besides Gongadze unknown to you but sacred for me. They were not mentioned on tapping but the masterminds [of their murder] are the same bastards. For the real Ukrainians do not sell or abandon their brothers-in-arms even when they are no longer alive," he concluded.
It should be noted that Podolskyi was a victim in the case of the murder of journalist Georgy Gongadze. Before the tragedy of Gongadze Oleksii Pukach has also brought Podolskyi in the forest and strangled him with a belt but, fortunately, he survived. The conversations on the case of Podolskyi have also been recorded by Melnichenko tapping.
