 FSB kidnapped three Ukrainian fishermen on border with occupied Crimea, - State Border Guard Service

The FSB of Russia has detained three citizens of Ukraine at the border with occupied Crimea today, September 15, 2015.

Censor.NET, reports citing the press office of the State Border Guard Service.

"The "Henichesk" Department of the Kherson detachment of the State Border Guard Service has received information from the fisherman, who was fishing on the Sivash Lake this morning, on the possible detention of the fishing boat with three citizens of Ukraine by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation officers in the area of the Koshary estuary on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine - Crimea," the statement reads.

The boat came out of the Strilkove temporary basing point to carry out industrial fishing.

"One of the fishermen from the boat called his wife at about 10 a.m. and said that it was necessary to pass his passport through Chonhar crossing point to the Russian border guards for the preparation of administrative documents.

It is reported that the head of Berdiansk border guard detachment initiated internal investigation into causes and circumstances of the possible detention of three citizens of Ukraine by the representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service.
