 Kremlin cannot confirm negotiations on exchange of Sentsov and Kolchenko for captured Russian commandoes

Russian president’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated he could not confirm the information spread by the media that Moscow has allegedly offered Kyiv to exchange filmmaker Oleh Sentsov and activist Oleksandr Kolchenko for captive Russian special forces operatives Alexander Aleksandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeyev.

"I do not know whether this information is trustworthy. I do not hold any information on this issue," he said.

Responding to a clarification question whether Moscow was carrying out negotiations with Kyiv on such an exchange, Peskov said: "I am not aware of any negotiations that may be held on this matter."

Earlier, some media quoted the statement of head of the "Officers' Corps" Ukrainian Center for the release of prisoners Volodymyr Ruban that Sentsov and Kolchenko were allegedly offered to be exchanged for Russian Federation servicemen Aleksandrov and Yerofeyev at the talks in Minsk.
