 Parliament to consider resignation of Voshchevskyi and Kvitashvili this week, - Speaker Hroisman

This week, the Parliament will consider resignation of Verkhovna Rada Chief of Staff Valentyn Zaichuk, as well as Health Minister Aleksandr Kvitashvili, and Deputy Prime Minister Valeriy Voshchevskyi.

This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada speaker Volodymyr Hroisman at the conciliatory board on Monday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainska Pravda.

According to him, the said officials have filed "at will" applications to the Parliament.

"These staff issues need to be considered and enacted," Hroisman said.

As reported earlier, due to the Radical Party faction splitting off the parliamentary coalition, Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Voshchevskyi, a member of this political force, announced his resignation.

Also, upon the results of examination in the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, it was established that the Health Minister Aleksandr Kvitashvili is unfit for the post.
