 Former Kyiv governor Ulianchenko put on wanted list by SBU

The Security Service of Ukraine put former head of the Kyiv regional state administration and former Presidential Secretariat head Vira Uliancheko on its wanted list.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, the information was published on the Interior Ministry website in the "Persons fleeing from authorities" section.

Former governor is suspected of committing a crime under part 5 article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (conversion, embezzlement, or distress of property by abuse of position).

No restraint has been imposed upon the suspect.

According to information by the Interior Ministry, Ulianchenko dropped out of the law enforcement agencies' site on June 30.

As reported, the Prosecutor General's Office notified the following persons of suspicion of illegal embezzlement of a land plot in Sukholuchchia: former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, former Kyiv governor Vira Ulianchenko, and a number of officials.

According to the authority, the above mentioned persons contributed to misappropriation of a land plot within forest fund of the Dniprovskyi-Teterivskyi forest hunting coupe in Sukholuchchia village, Vyshhorod district of the Kyiv region.

The area of the plot, known as "Sukholuchchia" hunting area, is 17,48 ha, worth 22 million UAH (almost $1 million).
