 "Military tax will be extended for one year, until there is war," - Deputy Finance Minister Makeieva

Military tax imposed on personal income will be extended for one more year.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Deputy Finance Minister Olena Makeieva in an interview with Delo.ua. "The military tax will be extended for one year, until there is war," Makeieva said, when asked about possible extension of the tax.

Military tax was introduced in Ukraine on Aug. 3, 2014 and is levied at a rate of 1.5 percent of personal income in the form of wages, rewarding incentives and other indirect compensations accrued (paid, provided) to the taxpayer in connection with labor relations and civil contracts.
