 Kyiv city council plans to purchase 20 flats for ATO participants’ families

The Kyiv City State Administration intends to purchase 20 flats for families of servicemen, who took part in the anti-terrorist operation as well as disabled ATO participants.

The Kyiv City State Administration declared, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

It is noted that the Kyiv City State Administration intended to purchase 10 bed-sitting-rooms and 10 one-bedroom flats with sanitary ware and interior decoration by the expense of the state budget.

The apartments will be purchased in newly built high-rise buildings accepted into service (new homes market) and on the existing market.

The cost of 1 square meter of the property will be determined by the results of the tender.

In addition, the accommodations aimed for disabled soldiers - participants of the ATO must comply with the legislation regarding accessibility for the disabled.

The Kyiv city council has reportedly allocated 18 million hryvnia (about $782,600) for the purchase of flats for the families of Kyiv residents killed in the antiterrorist operation (ATO).
