The private companies, having entered into joint venture agreements with a state company "Ukrhazvydobuvannia" and using its wells, have underpaid UAH 1 billion of rent in the first seven months of this year. This was stated by People's Front MP Tetiana Chornovol at a press conference in UNIAN.

"Overall, we have 21 enterprises operating under joint venture agreements, of which five are the most problematic. They are few of the total number, but those payments not paid to the state budget are really shocking. During seven months, about UAH 1 billion have been underpaid," she said.

According to Chornovol, four out of five problematic businesses have entered into joint venture agreements with Ukrhazvydobuvannia. Three of them are associated with a member of the parliamentary group "Volia Naroda" Oleksandr Onishchenko-Kadyrov, one company is associated with a deputy Yaroslav Moskalenko.

"I have sharp questions to the Head of the State Fiscal Service Nasirov (Roman Nasirov - ed.). We are talking about a considerable amount... I believe that Nasirov is aware of this situation. Moreover, this underpayment could be used to settle Ukraine's debts," Chornovol stressed.

The deputy also noted that these companies sell their products through the so-called tax minimizers, which makes it possible to radically reduce their obligations before the state budget.
