According to the report, there were no attacks recorded along the demarcation line before 6 p.m., but the enemy committed armed provocations after that: "A subversive and reconnaissance group of the militants consisting of up to seven people made an attempt to outflank our strong point near the village of Syze at the Luhansk direction using small arms and grenade launchers at around 6 p.m. The enemy retreated as a result of the engagement.
"Terrorists also fired at our detachments in Maiorsk at the Artemivsk direction with small arms at 6:25 p.m. The thugs employed 82-mm mortars against the Ukrainian troops' positions in Marinka at 11 p.m.
"The pro-Russian gangs have violated the armistice three times yesterday. Enemy saboteurs again unsuccessfully tried to break through our defenses near the village of Syze at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 8. The attempt was committed near the same stronghold of the ATO forces, where a battle had taken place several hours earlier," the HQ said.
