 Stoltenberg to first attend Ukraine's NSDC meeting, - Minister Klimkin

During his visit to Kyiv, NATO Secretary-General will for the first time in history participate in a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine after his meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Monday in Brussels, Censor.NET reports referring to Ukrinform.

"I've just had a very informative meeting with NATO Secretary General. We have discussed his future visit to Ukraine. This will be a landmark visit, as the head of the Alliance along with the president of Ukraine will attend the official opening ceremony of the international NATO civil crisis response exercise "Ukraine-2015" (Sept. 21-25 at the Yavoriv training ground - ed.). Also, during the visit, for the first time in NATO's history and in the history of Ukraine, Stoltenbergl will participate in the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine at the invitation of the president of Ukraine," Klimkin said.

According to him, during the meeting, a number of documents will be adopted, including Ukraine's Military Doctrine and Strategic Defense Bulletin.
