 Ukraine's Finance Minister announces state budget over-execution by almost 25 billion hryvnia

Ukraine's budget revenue has exceeded the projected volume by 24.6 billion hryvnia (about $1.069 billion) over the last eight months of this year.

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko said at a meeting of the Financial Stability Council, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

"Due to the active policies of the government and the National Bank, we were able to strengthen our country's financial capacity. In particular, we have a positive trend in the implementation of the State Budget. Over this year's eight months, the state budget revenue has been exceeded by 24.6 billion hryvnia (about $1.069 billion)," she said.

According to Jaresko, this is a consequence of the budget decentralization and the applicable tax policy.

As reported earlier, according to the State Fiscal Service, revenues of the Ukraine's consolidated budget amounted to 364.4 billion hryvnia (about $15.843 billion ) in January-August 2015, which is 94 billion hryvnia (about $4.087 billion) or 34.8% more than in the same period of the last year.
