Three Ukrainian soldiers disappeared on the border with occupied Crimea

On the morning of Sep. 5, three soldiers of the 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade, senior soldier Yurov, soldier Orlenko and soldier Mekshun, were reported missing.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was established that on Friday night (Sep. 4) the mentioned soldiers left their observation post, returned to the unit's location, dressed in civilian clothes (slip-ons, shorts, and marine tanks) and, according to their colleagues, went for a swim to the dam, which is located on the territory adjacent to the illegally occupied territory of Crimea.

As it turned out later, two vehicles drove to the area at night (UAZ and Ural) from the illegally occupied territory of Crimea and possibly illegally detained the Ukrainian soldiers. Their weapons, ammunition and documents were left in the location of the military units. Internal investigation is in progress at the moment.
