 Police served former MP from Svoboda party Leonov notice of suspicion of organizing turmoil near parliament

The Interior Ministry has served notice of suspicion to former Verkhovna Rada deputy Eduard Leonov (member of the "All-Ukrainian Union" Svoboda” party) as part of the investigation into the riots outside the Verkhovna Rada of Aug. 31.

Head of legal service of the party Oleh Bondarchuk told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.

"He has been served a notice of suspicion. But he is still giving testimony to the investigator," he said.

Leonov is suspected of organizing mass disturbances outside the Ukrainian Parliament on Aug. 31.
