Shvaika posted the corresponding motion by the Interior Ministry in his Twitter, Censor.NET reports.
The Interior Ministry Department for Combating Organized Crime has notified former Minister of Agrarian Policy, member of Svoboda party Ihor Shvaika of a suspicion under Article 294 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (rioting).
As reported, three soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine died and three more are now in grave condition as a result of injuries received in clashes at the Parliament building on Aug. 31. More than 140 people were injured. According to the Interior Minister Arsen Avakov no civilians suffered.
Avakov blamed the bloody clashes on the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" and its leader Oleh Tiahnybok.
Sept. 1, Svoboda leaders and activists, who took active part in the events outside the Ukraine's Parliament on Aug. 31, were summoned for questioning - a total of 30 people, including Ihor Shvaika, Oleh Tiahnybok, Yurii Syrotiuk, and others. The ministry published photos in which members of Svoboda behave aggressively towards the National Guard servicemen, in particular, rush at them with sticks.
