Former MP Tiahnybok gave a short press briefing at 9:40 a.m. and entered the Interior Ministry building at 114 Antonovycha Str. in Kyiv 10 minutes later.
At that moment, about 50 activists of the party were on demonstration near the authority.
As reported earlier, clashes near the parliamentary building in Kyiv on Aug. 31 took lives of three National Guard soldiers; three more are in grave conditions in hospitals. More than 140 persons received injuries. Interior Minister Arsen Avakov announced there were no casualties among civilians.
The Interior Ministry head accused Svoboda and its leader Tiahnybok of the bloody turmoil near the Rada building in Kyiv.
On Sept. 1 Interior Ministry investigators summoned Svoboda leaders and activists who participated in the Aug. 31 events near the Ukrainian parliament for interrogation. The list of 30 persons included Oleh Tiahnybok, Yurii Syrotiuk, Ihor Shvaika and others.
