According to the State Sanitary-Epidemiological Service Main Department in Kyiv, as of 6:45 a.m. Sept. 4, 2015, the air samples taken in the capital contain a significantly smaller amount of sulfur dioxide and other controlled substances.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the authority's press service.

As reported, no excess has been registered in Kyiv downtown.

According to the service, concentration of sulfur dioxide was 1.5 times as high as a safe maximum at 4 Heroiv Stalinhrada Str. and 1.2 times higher at 3 Druzhby Narodiv Str. Excess in other controlled substances (nitrogen dioxide, carbon oxide) has not been registered.

At 8 Maiakovskoho Str. and 8 Saburova Str., sulfur dioxide concentration is at the safe maximum level.
